First day with the visitors yesterday.  So many people, mostly local citizens.  Great interest for our artists artworks.  The collection of bronze sculptures that we show is very successful and immediately capture the interest of the public.  No other booth presents such an important collection. The original paintings from Desjardins and Renzo are very well received by the visitors.  The enthusiasm is palpable!  Can’t wait to see what today has to offer us. Stay posted.

This is the beginning of an unimaginable adventure! This is Art Shanghai. We have no references, no roots here, nothing is similar, everything is different, everything is new.
How can I describe the emotion that I felt when this morning the company chosen by the chinese government opened our 2 crates? Being here in Shanghai, China, in the middle of a beautiful and peaceful park – a rare oasis in such a big asian city, checking the Desjardins paintings, those that I have seen in his workshop in Montreal, being transported to our booth by Chinese people that do not speak a word of english. It was overwhelming.
It is incredible to have the privilege of being here in China with the fabulous work of Andre Desjardins, Renzo and Tuan. We feel blessed. And the people of China will be amazed to discover the work of those 3 exceptional artists, starting tomorrow morning 10:00 am.
The booth mounting went very well. The chinese staff was up to the task. We were explaining our needs only with gestures, and surprisingly, it worked very well. Our booth have this amazing look. Created by Masterpiece Publishing, it is simply fabulous. They again achieved a wonderful exhibition space. Already, the other exhibitors have complimented the quality of the artworks that we present. We feel very proud. We are surrounded by galleries from all around the globe. Amazing artworks from Colombia and Venezuela are showed, just to mention those ones. The general quality of the art is of high end. It promises a great adventure. Can’t wait for tomorrow morning. This is all very exciting. Will keep you informed. Thank you for following us.
That’s it! Early this morning, two large crates have left California on their way to Shanghai. Galerie ROCCIA & ROCCIA Art International, in collaboration with Masterpiece Publishing will be exhibiting at Art Shanghai from May 10th to May 14th. This will be our first visit on the Asian continent. We will be showcasing the artwork of Desjardins, Renzo and Tuan. Many local and international collectors have already confirmed their presence to this special event, organized by ROCCIA Art International. There is no limit to what can be accomplished! Art Expo New York was a great experience for us. The connoisseurs and art amateurs have had the chance to meet two of our amazing artists: André Desjardins and Ira Reines.
Garcia’s paintings were widely talked about and certainly one of the highlights of the event. The visitors have been transported by the richness of his colors, the strength of the contrasts, the technique and the symbolism that comes from his paintings.
The Short Film “Devenir” was presented for first the time in United States. This 20-minutes movie allows viewers to witness the birth of a sculpture by André Desjardins. Following the movie presentation, spectators were curious to see the real sculpture. Many of them stayed longer to observe the artwork in all its details, fascinated and moved after being exposed to the creation process in the movie.
We would like to thank our Montreal art collectors who came to New York to share these great moments with us. Your presence was really appreciated, we are grateful for your loyalty.

On March 22 to 25, 2012, galerie ROCCIA, in collaboration with Masterpiece Publishing, will attend Art Expo New-York 2012. Nestled in a 800 sq.ft. booth, Galerie ROCCIA will showcase over 35 paintings and 35 bronzes by artists André Desjardins, Renzo, Reines and Tuan.
The event holds a very special meaning since, as you might remember, it’s at Art ExpoNew York, in 2008, that André Desjardins was recruited by Masterpiece Publishing. Four years latter, the agent and their protégé are extremely proud of returning together onNew Yorksoil and present an impressive collection of bronzes and paintings signed by André Desjardins.
Today brought a very different crowd then last night. Visitors took the time to enjoy and analyze each artwork. They savoured each second. Renzo’s work also creates a lot of amazement. The beauty, the profoundness and the signification of the symbolism that his work shows touches the art lovers and collectors. Again we are so blessed to receive all those great comments, it is very stimulating. We look forward to those coming days. More to come.
Roccia Art International’s opening night at the L.A. Fine Art Show went very well. The numerous visitors showed so much enthusiasm regarding the exposed artworks. The comments regarding the visual presentation and estheticism of our booth were so laudatory. It is very stimulating for us. Impressive artworks such as Icara and Icarus from Reines do not leave any art collector and art lover insensible. And the infatuation for the new 6 sculptures of artist André Desjardins is so palpable. There are actually revealed for the first time here in United States. The fact that we are the only gallery from Montreal is often a great subject of conversation. Each person have their own very personal story with our exciting city. It makes these exchanges very warm. We are very happy with the contacts that we have already established and can’t wait to see what those 4 following days will offer us. More to come.
