On March 22 to 25, 2012, galerie ROCCIA, in collaboration with Masterpiece Publishing, will attend Art Expo New-York 2012. Nestled in a 800 sq.ft. booth, Galerie ROCCIA will showcase over 35 paintings and 35 bronzes by artists André Desjardins, Renzo, Reines and Tuan.

The event holds a very special meaning since, as you might remember, it’s at Art ExpoNew York, in 2008, that André Desjardins was recruited by Masterpiece Publishing. Four years latter, the agent and their protégé are extremely proud of returning together onNew Yorksoil and present an impressive collection of bronzes and paintings signed by André Desjardins.

Nathalie Trépanier has two new works on display at Galerie ROCCIA: an owl who has just had a marriage proposal… Her name? Athéna or “What?You want to get hitched?” Victoire, a charming and haughty mouse, is a good friend of hers. Come discover these two new sculptures! Hurry before they fly away!

What an extraordinary journey we had here in L.A. Fine Art Show! The wonderful people that we have met and that we will be keeping contact with, the enchanted new collectors of our artist artworks, the business that we have accomplished, the experience was exceptional. Not only actor David Arquette hosted the opening night premiere party but the rumor is that singer Lenny Kravitz attended the event. And more than a rumor, the great actor Jack Nicholson passed in front our booth and took a minute to admire a painting from Desjardins. This Hollywood fever was very exciting. Thanks to each visitor who passed by our booth. Thanks to you our new collectors. And thank you to you reader for following us through this exceptional experience.

Today brought a very different crowd then last night.  Visitors took the time to enjoy and analyze each artwork. They savoured each second. Renzo’s work also creates a lot of amazement. The beauty, the profoundness and the signification of the symbolism that his work shows touches the art lovers and collectors. Again we are so blessed to receive all those great comments, it is very stimulating. We look forward to those coming days.  More to come.

Roccia Art International’s opening night at the L.A. Fine Art Show went very well.  The numerous visitors showed so much enthusiasm regarding the exposed artworks.  The comments regarding the visual presentation and estheticism of our booth were so laudatory.  It is very stimulating for us.  Impressive artworks such as Icara and Icarus from Reines do not leave any art collector and art lover insensible.  And the infatuation for the new 6 sculptures of artist André Desjardins is so palpable.  There are actually revealed for the first time here in United States.  The fact that we are the only gallery from Montreal is often a great subject of conversation.  Each person have their own very personal story with our exciting city. It makes these exchanges very warm.  We are very happy with the contacts that we have already established and can’t wait to see what those 4 following days will offer us. More to come.

The unveiling of Nathalie Trépanier’s new works on November 23^rd at Galerie ROCCIA attracted a crowd that was visibly delighted by the artist’s talent and unbridled passion. “Sacoche” and “Fé-Fille” sparked a keen interest and got a big round of applause. The evening was topped off by a live performance: Nathalie Trépanier started to craft a new sculpture right before the very eyes of a curious and attentive audience. On Wednesday, November 23rd, at 6 p.m., Galerie ROCCIA invites you to share a unique experience with artist Nathalie Trépanier. During this special evening, the artist will unveil two new sculptures; one of them called “Fe-fille” a magnificent life-sized bulldog guaranteed to make you smile. The work was created during the filming of a short feature directed by Hélène Bélanger-Martin on Nathalie’s creative process. It is slatted for release in 2012.

As an added attraction, Nathalie will create a new sculpture, live, before your eyes, from found and recycled objects. Come and witness the creative genius of this colourful artist. If you have knick-knacks you want to dispose of, old keys, telephones, a pencil sharpener lying at the bottom of a drawer, bring them along! Who knows, they might end up in Nathalie Trépanier’s next creation! Welcome to all!
