“Their elegance is only the beginning of the story”
Today, Mélanie and François handcraft the same salt and pepper mills that Sylvain Tremblay himself had imagined and created. In their small workshop in the Eastern Townships, they are busy reviving the art of their departed friend, surrounded by the same smell of fresh wood.
Sylvain loved wood, a passion he inherited from his father. After Sylvain’s passing, thousands of salt and pepper mills were already embellishing tables around the world. His art was not about to disappear. Because two long-time friends were ready to take up the torch. And because Sylvain relied on the high quality and sturdiness of his products: creations that will continue to adorn our tables for decades to come.
Each of our works is a tribute to the incredible work of an artist who has left his mark on the world of fine crafts in Quebec. And they are just waiting to grace your table.
