40 x 30 in. – Ink-jet printing on canvas and acrylic
Sister 1: Narrowly escaping by force of dreams and perseverance, she finally learned to live free.
Sister 2: Learning to live between the lines and the words. Lulled by poetry and stillborn love affairs.
Sister 3: Living in a field of tall wild grasses yet always with bated breath at the view of an ascending butterfly.
Sister 4: Trapped in the snack bar era, all prettied up on Saturday nights and wistlfully hoping for the return of her first love.
Sister 5 : Attempting to smooth over the fine wrinkles on her face with makeup. Could they be a sign of her repeatedly bottled-up sorrow?
Sister 6: It could have been worse; she made do with very little. She folded a lot of clothes and never got the hang of putting on lipstick.
