18 Sep NOW FOR TOMORROW at Marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises
The culmination of a long adventure of more than two and a half years of reflection, gestation and creation. More than twenty-four months to give birth to twenty-six little climbers as André imagined them, as supportive as benevolent and determined. They took shape one after the other and many of you saw them appear in a clay state and then see them transform into bronze.
“Now for Tomorrow” embodies for André, his dearest wish. May we all come together to roll up our sleeves and, all together, take care of our planet, which is in great need of it.
We can’t wait to introduce you to them, these little climbers, all of whom are finally gathered around a rock face more than 15 feet high. We had the great pleasure of unveiling this installation on September 11, in the heart of the Marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises Interpretation Centre. Surrounded by his lover and first accomplice in this adventure, Hélène, as well as his friends and precious collaborators, it is with great excitement that André lifted the veil on this new monumental work.
During your visit to the Marais, we invite you all to submit your ideas, recommendations and concrete actions so that, collectively, we can reduce our ecological footprint. A box has been installed at the foot of the work so that you can slip your missives into it. At the end of the exhibition, in September 2025, André will gather all the ideas collected and make a manifesto that he personally promises to hand deliver to the Minister of the Environment, the Fight against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks.
