20 Jun “Suspending time”
A new clay sculpture by André Desjardins is currently available for pre-sale. These precast events are extremely popular. They offer sculpture lovers to view the work in all of its fragility and splendour, before its transformation into bronze. The new work is entitled “Suspending time” and is part of “The delicate balance of life can shift at any time” collection. The artist explains: “I’ve named this work Suspending time. Being present to the here and now, slowing down, taking pause, reflecting, contemplating, appreciating; all of these states of being resonate with me, attract me, shape my creation and soul. We live in an often frenzied world, everything goes too fast, much too fast. That’s the reason I wanted to explore a state of standstill, of pause, a moment for listening, a genuine attentiveness.”
On exhibition until July 31st. At the time of publication, 2 of the 12 editions have been purchased. For more information about this work, please contact us at: [email protected]
