In addition to the gallery’s usual activities, we have worked on a very special project. As you probably already know, André Desjardins has spent the summer sculpting a monumental work to be installed on the shores of Lake Memphremagog in May 2021. The work is now completed, and the casting stage started last week. What you might not know is that this great adventure is the subject of a 52-minute documentary. The film examines the step by step creation of this masterly work, from the workshop to the foundry. The documentary also takes a closer look at the artist himself, his sources of inspirations, his roots. The film is slated for release in October 2021. We will keep you posted!
